Update: New Banquet Date as We Head to the Big Easy!
Working with the SCTE, we moved the banquet and induction date, to Wednesday, October 2nd during the SCTE/ISBE show. The new date avoids any travel problems with the Jewish holidays and gives the Pioneers more options for selecting a wonderful venue. This is the last major industry event to be held in New Orleans for the next 10 years, and we want to be sure our banquet date will make for a memorable event at a memorable location for all of our members, inductees and guests. The Cable TV Pioneers will hold their 53rd annual banquet in New Orleans, LA on Wednesday October 2nd, during the SCTE/ISBE Cable-Tec Expo. More details on the location and time to come.
Nominations for the 2019 class are now open, and the Cable TV Pioneers will be accepting applications through April 1, 2019. Click here for instructions, rules, and to download a pdf application form. Please remember that April 1st is the cutoff for receipt of applications and the $300 application fee. Only Pioneers who are in good standing with current dues may sponsor a nominee.
